Positive and Negative Energy

The Tao allows both positive and negative energy in our lives. Negative energy often provides humanity with the ability to learn and grow in very different ways than positive energy. Negative energy can creates doubt, fear, hatred, wars, violence, torture, etc. These are the types of experiences that most of us find repulsive and want to minimize as much as we can, But these negative experiences often spur us to go in a new direction even further than we would have gone had we not had that negative experience.

The Tao allows negative energy to exist for a purpose. Negative energy provides the Tao with new and different experiences. It also allows we humans opportunities to learn, grow, and develop, even though this process is usually very difficult and painful.

The Tao, however, usually tries to keep things in balance and in harmony. The concept of "karmic debt" is a way to help keep these energy scales some what balanced. The need for someone to repay back something in a positive manner allows the ability to re-balance that energy scale. To re-balance that energy scale, a person needs to do something VERY positive so the debt can be repaid.

Often the re-payment is done in a different lifetime, however, and because of that we often end up carrying around karmic debts from lifetime to lifetime. Over time, we accumulate more karmic debt. The burden of this negative energy can at times overshadow our existence and becomes a heavy burden, similar to carrying around baggage that is forever and always on our back. Eventually we come to the point where we realize this burden of debt is hampering our ability to progress and we make arrangements to pay off the debt and get rid of that burden. When this happens, we usually find ourselves in a situation where we have strong pull or desire that leads us in a certain directions, perhaps helping someone with their life, or getting behind a worthy cause, or making a contribution to the world. When the debt gets paid off, that desire and drive almost magically dissipates into air, hence the term "burning a karmic debt".

Often during our debt repayment process we end up doing more good and creating even more positive energy than was created in the original negative experience. The end result is more positive energy in the world than negative energy. The Tao is no longer in equal balance of energy.

In fact, there is more positive energy in the world than negative energy and has been for a long, long time. The balancing scale of energy has been tipped more towards the positive side for some time. Recently a new energy spark (or force) was disseminated and made available throughout the world. This new energy will create an even greater amount of positive energy in the world.

I wondered if this additional positive energy would or could create backlash over time. Would humanity have fewer learning and growth opportunities when the energy balancing scales get even more out-of sync? With fewer negative energy in the world, would we experience stagnation, for example? Would we stop our pursuit of growth and development without this type of energy balance? Would this curtail the type of life experiences we need in our development process?

The response to these questions was a resounding "No".

I was then shown the outcome this spark of change and could see that with this new energy, humanity had what seemed like a new starting place. It was as if we now had a "leg up" in the development process. This new energy will provide, what we could say, is almost a "head start" and a new place to launch humanity's possibility.

I could see humanity going deeper and broader in exploring and having new experiences than we ever thought were possible in our entire history of humankind. A new journey now awaits for humanity.

This new awakening will allow us to explore even greater opportunities we have not yet experienced. More positive energy is being created. A new journey for humankind awaits.
