My Focus for 2011

Around the time of the winter solstice, there is a great deal of Yin or female energy and the astral can be very close to the physical.  This is the easiest time of the year to connect with the astral plane and is a lush time for significant dreams, powerful meditations, and messages from your Higher Self and your Spiritual Guides.   It is often during this time of the year I get insight into what should be my focus for the coming year.

It was during this week of the Winter Solstice I had some rather significant and poignant dreams.  What I concluded from some of these dreams were the following areas in the USA that need my attention and where I should devote my efforts and time:

1) Government needs to be more open, visible, and accountable.   The panic stemming from the Wikileaks showed the amount of secrecy that is in government.  Seeing the reaction to try and discredit those who exposed this information shows how desperate some want to keep things hidden.  This needs to stop and we need more openness in government.  Security doesn’t rest on secrecy.  Secrecy, backroom deals, money exchanges with no accountability has caused more problems and these needs to be stopped.  We need openness and fairness.  We need leaders who have integrity.  We need people who can recognize truth and act on the knowledge of truth rather than the shared secret lies that maintain the status quo.

2) We need to stop polluting the earth, air, and water.  There have been many “under-the-cover” deals that have allowed businesses to continue as is while the government and those in authority look away.  We saw this in the Gulf with the oil leak.  This style of allowing certain people or certain business to continue as is without accountability for following the rules needs to end.  We need this system of looking the other way and allowing our environment to be raped and pillaged to change direction immediately.  The earth is crying out for help and if we don’t act now, only a very few of the people on this earth will have a future.

3) There is still much to be done in heath care.  We need to focus on prevention of health problems and help people maintain their health.  We need to refocus where we spend dollars and prioritize health care towards areas that keep us healthy.

With the coming new year, those are the areas I will focus my energy towards helping to improve the world in ways that I can.

Balancing the Male/Female Energy in the Earth

Around midnight (PST) was the lunar eclipse as well as the beginning of the 2010 winter solstice.  We welcomed these two female energy events with celebration.  We also introduced a spark of spiritual energy to these events in honor of a new millennium about to begin. This millennium will be the re-balancing of the male and female energy in our world.  

The growth of this female energy will help us become more balanced in many aspects of our lives.  We will begin to pull away from the more aggressive and masculine tendencies that are in abundance in our world.  We see the outcomes of this over abundance of male energy by the amount of war we have in this world and the focus on domination, control, and power.

The female energies of caring, nurturing, and growing have often been suppressed in the world, but now, those energies will grow and have a greater focus in the world.  There will be more people, both male and female, who will expand their thoughts, attitudes, and actions to protecting life. More and more people with start living their lives in ways to nourish and care for the earth, people, and all living things.  The focus of life will change from quantity to quality as more of the female energy in the world grows.

We have been very much out of balance in this world for many, many years.  It is now time for the Yin and more Female energy of life to build, grow, and energize the world.

The beginning of this new millennium was introduced with the 2010 lunar eclipse, a very feminine mark of energy in most cultures.  This eclipse was paired with the Winter Solstice, another very female energy event.  Those two moments created the right circumstances to initiate a change of direction, and a third event, the introduction of a spark of spiritual energy brought the forces together in a single of moment, almost as if a tiny pebble was dropped in still water and gentle ripples allowed to disperse.

This is what we can expect to see as these ripples of female energy dispel:

• Refocus on caring for the earth, the water, and the air.
• Refocus on investing and caring for the inhabitants, such as in education, health care, and creating a workable social structure that can reduce fear and increase personal security
• Growing foods without drugs, hormones, and chemicals
• Ending many of the wars and rethinking and balancing that force of aggression and domination.
• Creating and using sustainable energy
• Providing human rights and equality as a right rather than a privilege throughout the world
• Increasing use of personal responsibility and accountability for personal actions
• Re-balance and level-set the male/female energy 

And so a new and more balanced millennium begins!

There Are Different Ways People Help Save the World

When I was younger I spent more of my focus on political and community activities with the desire to help improve, as well as save the world. My focus was directed to equality; women's equality. Lots of time and energy was spent in that arena and after going through a steep learning curve in the political front, and having some rather remarkable life changing events, I changed my focus of where I was putting my time and energy. I still had desires to help improve and change the world, but the focus shifted towards tapping in and using the subtle energies within that are centered in the heart and shared in a similar fashion.

So when some of my good friends, who I love and admire, were joking around and soliciting me to help bring people to action I politely declined to get involved. I support their views. I support their activities. I just know my energy and time needs to be spent on efforts that are more subtle in nature.  My activities to help save and improve the world are now all behind the scenes. It doesn’t mean I’m copping out, by any means. It is just that I have the awareness my strengths and abilities are in different areas and the greater value of where I contribute is done through energy. 

I recognize the gifts and abilities I have can help in ways most people cannot so I have chosen to move to working behind the scenes where I can lend my time and energy to promote improvements and changes.  I recognize there is no flare and very few can initially see the affects of what is being done.  But I also know and have absolute certainty they are making a difference.
